Lotus Café sits on the roof of Fondouk El Leben, above the Place des Épices, in the heart of the Marrakech medina. Below, the square trades as it has for generations: cumin, saffron, baskets, voices. Above, the noise stays downstairs.
We named the house after the lotus, the flower that rises from the water to open in the light. That is how we see Moroccan culture: lifted a little, and shown exactly as it is.

Here, the tea is poured from high, three glasses at least. Our kitchen serves the recipes Marrakech knows by heart, and a few we dared to rewrite. Our 0% cocktails and fresh drinks carry the flavours and colours of the city: orange blossom, almond, mint and spice.
